Our success as the World’s leading food service supplier is driven by our teams that deliver first class service in each and every client venue, seek out innovative solutions and serve first class food and beverage – and those teams are themselves fuelled and motivated by great team work.
We believe that great team work comes from the culture that supports the building of inclusive and welcoming work environments that reflect our shared values and vision. It’s a key tenet of our business that the diversity of our workforce reflects both the communities we serve and the societies we work.
Earlier this month Compass Group CEO was delighted to sign up Compass as a lead supporter of WiH2020. WiH2020 is an industry wide initiative dedicated to increasing women’s representation in leadership positions across the hospitality, travel and leisure sectors. We have also signed up to the Diversity in Hospitality, Travel and Leisure Charter, a ten-point action plan designed to put diversity and inclusion at the heart of leading businesses in the sector.
Tea Colaianni, Founder and Chair of WiH2020 pointed to Compass’ proud history and commitment of investing in training and support for female chefs and progressive workplace practices which provide the platform and inspiration for women to both consider and build a career within our business.
